Think About Their Skill Level

Another important factor to consider is your child's skill level. Beginners may find it easier to learn on a wider deck, as it provides more stability and room for their feet. More advanced skaters, on the other hand, may prefer a narrower deck for better maneuverability and control.

Protective Gear

There is a lot of falling when you're first starting - it's apart of the experience! We'd recommend a set of pads (Elbow & Knee) to get them started. We prefer the 187 however any knee pad is better than none!
