Nike has come back with another twist on the classic Black and Maize colour way featured in various other sneakers across the Nike Brand. This high-top SB Dunk is equal parts skate and street, with design roots reaching all the way back to 1985’s “Be True to Your School” Dunk pack.
Uppers are made of a resilient nubuck and offer a two-tone look. “Goldenrod,” a bold yellow tone, arrives on the toeboxes, quarters and collars while also taking up residence on the puffy mesh tongue. Contrast is provided by a stark black on the mudguards, eyestays, midfoot Swooshes and heels. Besides the Swooshes, branding is handled by a black and yellow SB tag on the tongue. Both the collar and tongue are trimmed in black, and white midsoles work with black outsoles to complete the look.
Each pair comes with two pairs of laces: Yellow and Black.
